We aim to meet the requirements of the Swedish Act (2023:254) on the accessibility of certain products and services and of WCAG 2.1 level AA, even though as a microenterprise we are not formally covered by the act at present. The act has been in force since 28 June 2025 and implements the EU's European Accessibility Act; its requirements follow the EN 301 549 standard, which in turn builds on WCAG at level AA. (Nor are we covered by DOS-lagen, which applies to the public sector.)
We use the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) as a benchmark and aim for level AA. That includes sufficient color contrast, a logical reading order, and making sure the site works with a keyboard and with screen readers.
Clickable elements like buttons and links are sized to work well with a finger on a mobile screen, not just with a mouse.
Moving elements, like the animated logo in the footer, respect your device or browser's "reduce motion" setting (prefers-reduced-motion) and switch to a static version when it's enabled.
DUZO is still under active development. Some parts — particularly the admin interface, which is only used internally by our staff — haven't gone through the same level of review as the pages regular visitors and users interact with.
We haven't yet carried out a full, independent accessibility audit of the entire platform.
If you find any part of DUZO hard to use because of a disability, please reach out to us through support. Let us know which page it concerns and what kind of assistive technology you're using (for example a screen reader, or keyboard-only navigation) — it helps us prioritize the right fixes.
You can reach us through the contact form on the support page or at info@duzo.se. We reply within 5 working days. If the problem cannot be fixed straight away, our reply tells you how we intend to handle it, and how you can get what you need another way in the meantime.
If you aren't satisfied with how we handle your report, you can contact the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS), which supervises the accessibility requirements for e-commerce services under the Act (2023:254).
